The Food Justice Momentum Team is made up of City Heights community members, including students and parents, who come together to make our school lunches healthy and culturally appropriate for all students.

One of the team's latest achievements is achieving five days of halal food at Crawford High School. Mid-City CAN worked with City Heights students, teachers, parents, and San Diego Unified staff to provide food at Crawford that is not only culturally appropriate for Muslim students, but healthy and nutritious for ALL students.
