Dear Mid-City CAN Community: 

Change is occurring by the minute as we all scramble to grasp and respond to the impacts of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Amid the change, I am certain of one thing; that our community is ready to rise to the challenge before us and emerge stronger than ever. #yougotthis 

Moments like this define a people, define a community, and define our leadership. To that end, Mid-City CAN is swiftly adapting to protect the health of all our staff, community members, and partners. Mid-City CAN is also working to shift our resources to support our community, to call for equity across our government response, protect our most vulnerable, and to take a firm stand against hate. 

At this time, Mid-City CAN has modified our operations to work by phone, video, and internet as much as possible. All large events have been postponed and we have set up the resources below for easy access. Please stay in the loop via our email network and Facebook.

I am sending everyone love, good health, and strength in the face of the challenges ahead. I am confident that we are a community ready and united to overcome whatever COVID-19 throws at us. #wegotthis

Đây chính là lúc khẳng định một dân tộc,một cộng đồng và sự lãnh đạo của chúng ta. Trước đòi hỏi đó, Mid-City CAN phải nhanh chóng thích ứng với tình hình nhằm bảo vệ sức khỏe của các nhân viên, các thành viên trong cộng đồng và các đối tác. Mid-City CAN đang tiến hành các nguồn thông tin hổ trợ cộng đồng,kêu gọi chính phủ đối xử công bằng, bảo vệ những người dễ bị tổn thương nhất và đứng vững chống lại sự ghét nhau.

Vào thời điểm này, Mid-City CAN chuyển đổi cách thức làm việc qua điện thoại,qua video và qua Internet càng nhiều càng tốt. Những sự kiện tụ tập đông người phải bị trì hoãn lại ,và chúng tôi đã thành lập các nguồn thông tin để dễ tiếp cận.
