Our Civic Engagement team is delighted to host "Cool Hours" on Tuesday, July 30 from 1 pm to 3 pm in City Heights (4305 University Ave, Suite 640).
During Cool Hours, our new Civic Engagement team member Alejandro and the rest of the team will do a brief presentation (30 minutes) about the dangers of extreme heat and have tips on how to protect yourself and others. There will be cold water, snacks, and arts and crafts for children. Bring a book, your laptop to surf the Internet, or just hang and relax!

Our Community Health Workers Alejandro and Raphael will be available during the event and happy to connect community members with resources such as Medi-Cal, voting, housing, food information and more.
