Hello Beloved Community,

Please mark your calendars for MCC's 3nd Annual Queer, Trans, and Intersex PGM (People of the Global Majority) - Health and Pride Fair happening on Saturday June 29th, 2024 in City Heights. This year's theme is "Fighting for Our Futures" and it is a response to the hate and fear our community continues to experience on a daily basis. New research from the Trevor Project finds that a large number of LGBTQ+ youth believe their chances of living to age 35 are low; 64% of those surveyed reported they were more likely to not live to the age of 35. This is due to a growing number of reasons including the 500+ anti-2SLGBTQIA+ legislative bills that have been introduced. It is up to us as a community to create safe(r) and affirming spaces/environments where our youth are free to express their identity and be(come) who they are. This is why our event is youth-centered, family-friendly and open to all ages. Together we will create hope, joy and community while learning, playing, and making new connections.
