Join Youth Council and San Diegans for Justice on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at 9 a.m. at City Hall. 

Our Youth Council will be having an action to give youth a voice in police practices and give our community the power of accountability.  

Thank you to those of you who joined us in July at the Rules Committee. The Public Safety & Livable Neighborhoods Committee will hear our agenda item at this meeting. We are advocating for a ballot measure to reform the Community Review Board on Police Practices into an independent, community-led commission with two youth seats.  

We hope youth council alumni and allies can attend this action. Our Youth Council would appreciate support, since most will be in school and unable to attend.
