A LITTLE ABOUT OUR ARTIVISM PROGRAM PROJECTS

At the end of the 5 week program students will showcase an experimental short multi-media installation about Environmental Racism and City Neglect. Students will learn different ways of editing a video, creating sounds, and making their own projector screen. Students will be paired in teams to make this happen, each student will focus on certain parts of the project; video editing and projection screen; on sound and drum machine; and on field recordings. Each week students will check in to see the progress of their project, giving feedback, and allowing students a chance to evaluate their progress. 

FIELD TRIP ITINERARY 

• Meet at the office at 10am 
• Travel to Oceanview Growing Grounds location 
• Lunch
• Guided Tour at Chicano Park 
• Arrive to the office by 5pm
