We are excited to announce our May 22nd community meeting with the Youth Justice Momentum Team at 37ECB, a local community school on El Cajon Blvd.
This month we have the honor of collaborating with the Youth Advisory Board from the Office of Youth and Community Restoration for a virtual presentation centered around their work and current campaigns.
Join us and learn how the YAB is working towards abolishing the carceral system. As mentioned on their website, the Youth Advisory Board aims to decrease incarceration rates by 50% over the next 5 years by centering and amplifying youth voices to facilitate conversations that will turn their experiences into expertise and their expertise into sustainable solutions for all.
The event will begin at 5PM with food, refreshments and tunes. The presentation will begin at 6PM and will run until 7:30PM.
